How do I adjust the pegs?

Each Johnson Engineering foot peg has internal adjustments that you can make to better fit your needs. Raise or lower the peg shank by turning the set screw located at the end of the shank with a 1/8" Allen wrench. Pin-lock systems provide a small steel pin that fits into the rear of the peg shank and the selected position hole on the mount. Rotate the shank to the desired location and tighten. This will fix the peg shank in a non-rotatable position of your choosing.

What type of aluminum is used in the Johnson Engineering Products?

All of the parts fabricated by Johnson Engineering are made from 6061 Aluminum and secured with steel or hardened steel bolts with ny-lock nuts.

Do the Johnson Rubbers fit any other peg shanks?

Accepted Answer

Yes, The Johnson Rubbers will fit any peg shank that it 3/8" x 3/4".  We recommend safety wire to secure the rubbers to the shank but glueing will work for some applications.

What colors of rubbers are available?

The Johnson Rubbers come in a variety of stock colors; Black, Red, Blue, Yellow, Metallic gold. We can and have made many colors. Just ask and we will build a set of custom color Johnson Rubbers just for you.

Yes. We will accept any uninstalled product back with a full refund, shipping not included, for a period of 6 months from your invoice date.
